Day-of coordination and additional event support are available as optional services but are not included in the base venue rental unless specifically listed in your package.

If you're managing the day independently, you'll need a plan for setup, vendor coordination, guest management, transitions, and cleanup. We strongly recommend having a designated planner or coordinator for larger celebrations.

We provide a starting supply of basics such as toilet paper, trash bags, cleaning supplies, and trash cans.

Because venue staff do not continuously monitor restrooms, trash, or event areas throughout your celebration unless staffing is included in your package, please designate someone to keep an eye on these needs during the event. Friends and family members who participate in the check-in orientation will be shown the location of the supply closet and may help restock basic supplies as needed.

Any tools, containers, or reusable supplies belonging to Mountain Field Farm should be returned clean and to the location where they were found.

All outdoor event areas must be returned to the condition in which you found them. This includes removing trash, bottles, flower petals, décor, food and takeout containers, floral supplies, vendor waste, and everything else brought onto the property for your event.

Overnight accommodations must be vacated by 11:00 a.m. unless your package states otherwise. Please follow the checkout instructions provided inside each accommodation.

If your package includes post-event outdoor access, outdoor event areas and rental items must be completely cleared by 2:00 p.m. unless another time is stated in your agreement.

Failure to complete required cleanup, removal, or restoration may result in deductions from the damage deposit and additional charges when costs exceed the deposit.

The event dumpster is located near guest parking in the hay field. Please break down boxes before placing them in the dumpster.

Please admire the flowers, but don't pick them.

Every stem is part of our working crop and is harvested at a particular stage for quality and continued production. Guests should remain on designated paths and may not enter garden beds or flower-production areas, including children.

Supervised photography in designated flower rows may be permitted. Please take extra care not to step on, pick, bend, or damage flowers or plantings.

Damage to crops or plantings may be charged to the renter, including the value of affected production where applicable.

Flower arranging and décor setup must take place within the areas included in your rental. Coolers, storage sheds, staff workspaces, and farm-production buildings are not available for event workspace or storage unless specifically authorized.

Décor and installations must comply with the property rules and be temporary, removable, and non-damaging. Please receive approval before attaching or installing anything on structures, landscaping, fixtures, or other farm property.

All décor, supplies, installations, and rental items must be completely removed within your rental period.

Yes, music is welcome! However, volume must be kept at reasonable levels and in accordance with Matanuska-Susitna Borough sound regulations. If we receive complaints or the volume becomes disruptive, we may ask that it be turned down—or turned off entirely. You are responsible for any citations, fines, or consequences that result from not following applicable sound ordinances.

Only qualified service animals and pets approved in advance are permitted.

Approved pets must remain leashed and under control. Owners are responsible for promptly cleaning up all pet waste and preventing digging, damage to landscaping or crops, or disruption to farm operations.

The Courtyard Cottage is our designated pet-friendly accommodation. Pets are not permitted inside the Barn.

Please remember that Mountain Field Farm is also home to a farm dog, who may be present on the property.

Please park only in designated parking areas shown on the property map.

Do not drive or park on lawns, flower fields, farm access roads, or other restricted areas. Vehicles may not block exits, emergency access, traffic-flow signage, or working farm roads.

The property speed limit is 5 mph.

Vehicles parked in unauthorized areas may be required to move or may be towed at the owner's expense.

Please share the parking map with your guests before the event. A little preparation here makes arrival much smoother for everyone.

Alcohol service and consumption must follow all laws, licensing requirements, permits, and Mountain Field Farm policies in effect at the time of the event.

Because these requirements may change, the couple should confirm the alcohol-service options and requirements applicable to their event with Mountain Field Farm rather than making independent alcohol-service arrangements.

Guests may not sell, independently distribute, or provide alcohol in a manner that conflicts with the alcohol plan established for the event.

Mountain Field Farm may limit or stop alcohol service when necessary for legal compliance or safety.

Smoking and cannabis use are not permitted anywhere on the property.

Please do not discard cigarette butts or smoking materials anywhere on the farm.

Open flames, including candles, require advance approval. Battery-operated candles are strongly encouraged.

Fire-pit use must also be approved in advance and may be restricted because of weather conditions, fire danger, burn restrictions, or other safety considerations.

Yes. Event liability insurance is required. Proof of insurance must be submitted prior to your event as outlined in your contract.  Guest, please help the renter protect their damage deposit by treating the farm, buildings, flowers, furnishings, and equipment with care and following the property rules.

The party renting the Venue is responsible for the conduct of their guests, family, vendors, contractors, and other event participants. Mountain Field Farm may ask anyone to stop an activity or leave the property when necessary to protect guests, crops, buildings, farm operations, licensing requirements, or the property itself.

Property damage, additional cleanup, unauthorized use, or other costs resulting from failure to follow the property rules may be charged against the renter’s damage deposit. Costs exceeding the deposit remain the renter’s responsibility.
