Make And Take Hanging Baskets May 2nd

$125.00

Make & Take Hanging Baskets

May 2nd – 4:00 PM – Palmer, AK
Limited Tickets

This spring, we’re introducing our first-ever Make & Take Hanging Basket Class!

We’ve been growing everything from seed right here at Mountain Field Farm specifically for this workshop. That means you’ll be designing with plants we’ve nurtured from the very beginning — selected for strong growth, beautiful color combinations, and how they mature together in a basket.

This class is designed to help you build a full, balanced hanging basket that looks beautiful the day you leave — and continues to fill in and evolve throughout the season.

What’s Included

All Materials Provided
You’ll receive a hanging basket, high-quality soil blend, slow-release amendments, and a curated selection of farm-grown plants.

Seed-Grown Plants
Begonias, petunias, nasturtiums, and many very cool surprise flowers and trailing vines — all grown on-site and selected for performance and color harmony.

Hands-On Instruction
Learn how to layer upright bloomers, mounding color, and trailing elements for a basket that feels full and intentional.

Design & Color Guidance
We’ll walk through how to think about color combinations and plant placement so your basket feels cohesive rather than random.

Care Instructions
Clear, practical guidance to help your basket thrive through the summer.

Why Join

Because everything was grown specifically for this class, you’re not limited to standard plug mixes or pre-made combinations. You’ll be working with thoughtfully grown plants and leaving with something you built yourself.

When:
Saturday, May 2nd
4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
